Dutch at Elckerlyc International School

Organisation

As soon as students have a reasonable command of the English language they will enter the Dutch program. This will vary individually as some students will acquire a language at a faster pace than others. The school will make these decisions after close consultation with class teachers, EAL-teachers (English as an Additional Language) and the Dutch teachers. Children in groups 0 and 1 will receive 2 sessions of 30 minutes per week, students in groups 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 will receive 2 sessions of 45 minutes per week.
